Read Scripture

F O C U S

The Read Scripture Community is a great opportunity to read parts of the Bible that are fundamental to the uniform story that the Bible is telling. Our goal for this season is to read through the first five books of the Bible (often called the Pentateuch) through the lens of the original reader, the author, and the context of that time. This might seem a little academic but it's promised to be simple & straightforward. We will have a time of fellowship, reading together outloud, worship, and sharing the timeless truths the Lord is revealing to us and how we can apply the word to our everyday lives. Come and find what Scripture has to say to us! (Location could possibly change due to a potential move.)

Dinner Around The World

F O C U S

This group is meant to be a way for all active Grove members to partner with what Grove is doing in 2019 in the Global trips. Twice per month, families will gather together to share an authentically inspired meal from the culture of each country Grove is partnering with, enjoy fun facts about the respective areas/cultures and end the meal time with prayer for the country and the trips themselves. This will require group participation as space is limited, so I'm inviting other families to host if they so desire. Hosts will be provided with a meal plan in accordance with the culture of each country as well as suggested prompts/prayers and fun facts to share!

The Streets Community

F O C U S

The Streetz Community is an intentional outreach group for leaders who hunger to stop for "the one" and exercise the gifts of the Holy Spirit! Every other Friday night, we gather at a specific location in the Twin Cities and ask Holy Spirit who He is highlighting and what He wants to do. It could be anywhere from praying for the sick, building relationships with the homeless, sharing a meal with a stranger, to sharing the gospel with a cashier at the Mall of America. In addition to Streetz outreach nights, we now have bi-weekly Discipleship Nights on alternating Thursdays! Discipleships nights were created to practice hearing the voice of God, grow deeper as a crew, and provide a safe space for those we meet on the streets to step into what authentic community looks like. Let's watch the God of miracles move in wild ways this year! Check out Matthew 10:7-8 and come join in on the adventure.
